Youth programs in schools
In the Realm of Senses engages young people in Chicago through innovative arts experiences that blend music, visual art, dance, theater, literature, gastronomy, and sensory design. By introducing students to multiple artistic disciplines within a single immersive environment, the organization encourages creativity, curiosity, and cross-disciplinary learning. Youth are exposed to both traditional and contemporary artistic practices while exploring how the senses shape human perception and expression. Through collaborations with professional artists, musicians, educators, and cultural partners, these programs foster artistic appreciation, critical thinking, and cultural understanding, helping students develop deeper connections to the arts and to one another.
All ages immersive events
Our flagship all ages performances arouse the senses and stimulate the imagination. Through collaboration with a wide variety of visual and performing artists, along with artisans such as perfumers and chefs, we devise unique experiences that synthesize music with sensations of sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch. By amplifying the evocative power of the senses, we seek a more profound, more resonant response from artists and audiences alike. We desire to bring diverse groups together to discover, explore, and enjoy the arts in ways that inspire a deeper appreciation for our shared humanity.
Adult Only Events
Our signature whiskey tastings transform a traditional spirits event into a fully immersive, multi-sensory experience. Guests sample a curated selection of eight to nine whiskeys from around the world while engaging with live music, scent pairings, visual elements, and guided storytelling. Each tasting explores how sound, aroma, memory, and environment influence perception and flavor. Past events have paired rare whiskeys with live violin performances, teas, seasonal themes, and bespoke fragrances, creating an experience that is equal parts cultural program, educational tasting, and artistic performance.
